Kol Dorot: A Reform Jewish Community
is happy to welcome our whole community to join us for certain services during the High Holy Days free of charge.
Please note:
Our High Holy Day services will take place in the beautifully renovated event spaces at the
Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands
, a short drive from our synagogue building in Oradell.
Community Tickets are available for the following services:
Erev Rosh Hashanah
Sunday, September 25, 8:00pm
The first service of the High Holy Days. A wonderful opportunity to welcome the New Year and hear the sound of the shofar.
Shofar Kids!
Monday, September 26, 9:00am (Rosh Hashanah)
Wednesday, October 5, 9:00am (Yom Kippur)
Our fun, musical event especially for children ages 0-5 and their families. A brief service full of the themes and sounds of the High Holy Days is followed by an age-appropriate craft project.
Family Services
Monday, September 25, 2:30pm (Rosh Hashanah)
Wednesday, October 5, 2:00pm (Yom Kippur)
Our Family Service is particularly appropriate for children ages 5-13 and their families—but all ages and generations (with or without children) are welcome! This family-friendly service includes the major prayers and songs of the High Holy Days, along with a Torah reading and holiday story.
